What “Not listed on label” means, and what it does not

The three ways a cell can be empty on Dosescope, and why none of them is a zero.

An empty-looking cell on a comparison always carries a reason. There are three.

  • Not listed on label: the Supplement Facts panel does not mention this nutrient. The product may still contain some of it, for example from other ingredients; the label simply does not declare it.
  • Not obtained yet: Dosescope has not yet secured a readable source for this line. The row stays visible so the gap is not mistaken for absence.
  • Sources conflict: two sources disagree, for example a label photo and the brand website. The entry is flagged for re-check and no number is shown until it is settled.

Because of this, sorting by a nutrient puts these rows last rather than treating them as zero, and the “differences only” view never hides them.
